The Walmart Cullman Distribution Center officially Wal-Mart Distribution Center #6006, is a regional retail distribution center for Walmart Inc. located at 2200 7th Avenue Southwest in Cullman.
It was constructed in 1983. As of 2023 the center employs 1,435 people as one of 5 regional centers in Alabama and 42 across the United States. Ken Caviness is general manager.
In 2023 Wal-Mart announced that it would invest $350 million to automate operations at the distribution center with AI-supported robotics. The retailer's goal was to double the amount of products it could move through the facility.
