Bear Creek Glass is a manufacturer of hand-blown glass washbasins, lighting fixtures and decorative accessories. The company was founded in March 2004 by engineer Joe Thompson. Its 5,000 square-foot manufacturing and office facility was located in the Phoenix Building at 2717 2nd Avenue South near Dr Pepper Place.

In 2009 Bear Creek glass relocated from Birmingham to Orange Beach, Baldwin County. The public-access "Hot Shop at Orange Beach Arts Center" opened in August 2009 with equipment donated by Thompson. Bear Creek now operates its studio and gallery from there. The company's products are sold internationally from 170 showrooms.
