Bessemer-Brown Funeral Home

The Bessemer-Brown Funeral Home is a funeral home established in 1938 and formerly affiliated with Brown-Service Funeral Homes. It is located at 1300 4th Avenue in Bessemer.

It was sold by a Florida company to the Modder family in 2004. In 2010, Elizabeth Modder Wallace purchased the company out of bankruptcy for $50,000 and a pledge to honor pre-paid burial contracts.
