Bob Rosser (born 1943 in Pensacola, Florida) is a master engraver, the owner of Bob Rosser Hand Engraver, Inc. since 1979 and a former church musician.

Rosser grew up building model airplanes. In 1975 he received a book called "The Art of Engraving" by John Meek. He made his own tools and taught himself how to carve in metal.

He pursued engraving as a hobby while studying church music at Samford University and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He returned to Alabama to be the music minister for several churches, including Birmingham's Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church. He and his wife, Janice, raised three sons in Albertville.

When he left the ministry he initially tried to open an insurance sales office, but found himself getting more calls for engraving than for insurance. So he started his own engraving business in 1979 while also working other jobs, such as at the jewelry counter at the Riverchase Galleria McRae's. He became the in-store engraver for a Huntsville jewelry store and was hired from there to work at Bromberg's Mountain Brook location. He and his wife moved back to Birmingham in 1994 and he opened his own shop at 2809 Crescent Avenue in Homewood.
