Dee Swehla (born in Minnesota) is the owner of Dee's Dogs, a sidewalk hot-dog stand operating at the corner of 20th Street and 7th Avenue South near the UAB campus.

Swehla, a foster mother who previously worked as a printer, opened the stand in 2003. She is often accompanied by her adopted son, John-Mark Thomas, who was fascinated as a child by a hot dog vendor working at the Lowe's home improvement store in Trussville.
