Five

Five was a restaurant and bar which featured an evolving menu of five entrees, five white wines, five red wines, five imported beers and five domestics. The majority owner of the chain is Destin, Florida-based restaurateur Charles Morgan. Minority owner Charles Eddings oversaw operations.

The original location opened in January 2011 at 2324 6th Street in Tuscaloosa. By the end of that year, a second location was opened at 744 29th Street South in Birmingham's Lakeview District. Additional restaurants later been opened in Athens, Georgia; Gainesville, Florida; and Mobile.

The Lakeview and Mobile restaurants closed in January 2024. Eddings said the decision was made based on slow weekday business and that the locations in college towns were doing well.
