Intermark Group is a privately-owned marketing agency specializing in "psychology driven" strategies. Its offices are located in the One Highland Place building at 2151 Highland Avenue and in Decatur, Georgia.

The company was founded by Mike Strong in 1977 as Strong & Associates, specializing in television and direct mail advertisements for automobile dealerships. It soon operated under the "Strong Automotive Merchandising" name. In 1986 the company launched an in-house film and video production studio in the Avon Theater building at 2829 7th Avenue South in Lakeview. The division was named Vazda Studios after its first director, Allan Vajda. By 1989 the company was working with a fifth of the Chevrolet dealers across the country. That same year the agency scored a hit with it's "Don't You Buy No Ugly Truck" campaign featuring a headscarf-clad "granny", and which was first used for Tommy Williamson's Roebuck Mazda before being pitched nationally.

Strong sold the business to his employees in 1994. Another division, Intermark Interactive, was launched in 1998 with account manager Jake McKenzie taking over as president two years later. In 1999 the company took offices in the newly-built 1800 International Park Drive building at Hoover's International Park. In 2004 Mark Strong and his son John Paul Strong, launched a new business and in 2014 regained the rights to the name "Strong Automotive Merchandising".

Vazda was the lead tenant for the Corporate Realty Development's 2006 renovation of the Rogers Trading Company Building on 1st Avenue North. Later Intermark followed, moving 110 employees to the building's second floor in 2008. ArchitectureWorks designed the office interiors, which included an Airstream travel trailer repurposed as a conference room. The renovation won an Honor Award in the 2011 AIA Alabama Design Awards program.

McKenzie became CEO of Intermark Group in 2009. In 2015 Intermark acquired the Tampa, Florida-based advertising firm DynaMedia of America. McKenzie launched an Intermark Legal division, which consults with contract and trial attorneys, in 2021. In 2023 the firm won several American Advertising Federation awards for its "Mind Trip" campaign for the Alabama Tourism Department.

In 2023 Intermark Group reported $42 million in revenues and 58 employees.

The firm moved to leased offices at One Highland Place in April 2024. At the time Intermark had 78 local employees, many of whom worked remotely, along with additional staff in 12 states. The new office includes a "neurolab" which allows researchers to monitor brain activity through EEG and biometric technology while developing "cognitively disruptive" marketing strategies.
