Jan Copeland Walsh (born c. 1957) is a freelance writer and entrepreneur specializing in wine, food and travel. Since 2006 she has published numerous profile-based online directories for local businesses in Birmingham.

Walsh grew up with her maternal grandparents on a farm in Oneonta and graduated from Oneonta High School in 1975. She studied at Jefferson State Community College and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education at UAB, graduating in 1996. She taught English, writing and desktop publishing for Oneonta City Schools from 1993 to 1998, and developed and advised the publication of a literary magazine, Expressions. From 2000 to 2004 she worked as an editorial manager for InterActive Communication & Training which publishes training software for medical professionals.

Walsh is a regular columnist for Birmingham magazine, covering food, food-related travel and restaurant reviews, as well as numerous feature articles. She has also contributed cover and feature articles to Wine Spectator since 2005. She has also been published in other national publications and has co-authored two books, The Forge: From Metal to Medicine, and Weight Watchers Annual Recipes for Success 2006. She resides in Vestavia Hills.

Walsh holds "Level 1" certification from the Guild of Master Sommeliers for her knowledge of wine and spirits, and is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
