Jous (pronounced "joe-us") is a four-piece soul and R&B band founded in Tuscaloosa in 1986. Members included brothers Darryl "D. B." Brown and James "J. B." Brown on bass and keyboards, Sheila R. on vocals and percussion, Serious O on drums, and Doug Ford on guitar.

The band released their first album in 1994 on Tuskk Records. Label executive Marvin Lucas acted as the band's manager.

Jous created infectious original music and had success with regional radio airplay (most notably with "Body Parts", for which the band created a video which aired on BET and VH1). The band endured as a mainstay on the college, wedding, and party circuit, performing covers of classic soul, funk, beach, and R&B hits.
