Laura Moore Rickman is a former high school fastpitch softball coach, best known as the head coach at Mortimer Jordan High School.

During Rickman's tenure, the Blue Devils have won Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A state championship in 2008 and 2009. They were upset by Athens High School in the title game in 2010 and finished second. They were also second in 2007 and third in 2006. The team was ranked seventh in the nation in the final USA Today/NFCA Super 25 poll at the end of the 2009 season; the 2010 team was ranked 23rd by USA Today and 15th by the ESPN RISE Fab 50 poll just before the state tournament.

Rickman announced her resignation on December 18, 2011, leaving coaching to work with the Jefferson County Schools Adaptive Physical Education program for exceptional-education children.

Before coming to Mortimer Jordan, Rickman was previously the coach at Sumiton Christian School.

Rickman's husband, Carl, is an assistant coach for Jordan's football team. They have one son.
