Lynam
Lynam is a Birmingham based hard rock group founded in 2001 and made up of frontman and songwriter Jacob Bunton (formerly of Mars Electric) with bassist Mark Dzier and drummer David Lynam. On stage the three all use David's surname, which is also shared by the road crew.
Lynam is heavily influenced by Def Leppard as well as by Steve Vai and Steely Dan. The group released three independent albums before signing with DRT Records. Their fourth release, Slave to the Machine (2006), peaked at #21 in Billboards "Top Independent Albums" chart. The follow-up, Tragic City Symphony, was released in 2008 on New Ocean Media and re-released in 2009 on Mascot/Megaforce Records.
Lynam has had touring success as an opener for Live, Fuel and Puddle of Mudd. The band has also performed on theme cruises such as 2008's "Motley Cruise" with Vince Neil, Skid Row, Ratt, Slaughter and Enderverafter and 2009's ShipRocked cruise with Queensryche, Tesla, Skid Row and others.
