Mitchell Alburto Porter (born August 17, 1859 in Elyton; died January 24, 1904) was an attorney and member of the Alabama House of Representatives.

Porter was the son of Mitchell T. and Catherine Porter. He attended the schools in Elyton and Birmingham and completed his bachelor of laws at the University of Alabama School of Law in 1881. He then entered into a partnership with his father which lasted until the elder Porter was made a Probate Judge in 1884.

Porter then entered the firm of Hewett, Walker & Porter. He married Hattie Earle of Tyler, Texas on December 21, 1886. He was elected to the state legislature in 1888 and served one term. Porter was also a member of the Alabama Historical Society.
