Ralph Coleman, Jr

Ralph Coleman Jr is a former Jefferson County District Court judge and currently a judge in the Pleasant Grove municipal court.

Coleman grew up in Minor Heights and later moved to Hoover. He was appointed in 1984 by then-Governor George Wallace to serve on the bench at Jefferson County's Bessemer Division. He retired in 2008 after 24 years and resumed practicing law and chairing arbitration hearings. Eddie Vines was appointed by Bob Riley to succeed him.

Coleman served on a temporary basis in Pleasant Grove before being appointed to succeed Roger Halcomb in July 2010.
