Steve Wright

Stephen Thomas Wright (born July 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky) is a former offensive tackle in the National Football League during 9 seasons for 5 different teams. He played college football at the University of Alabama.

Wright was drafted by the New York Jets of the AFL in 1964 in the 8th round, and the Green Bay Packers of the NFL in the 5th round, and chose to go with the Packers. Wright played for the Packers from 1964-1967. The Packers won the NFL championship in 1965, and Super Bowls I and II during his tenure. Wright went on to play for New York Giants (1968-1969), Washington Redskins (1970), Chicago Bears (1971), and the St. Louis Cardinals (1972).
