Uncle Tom's Bar-B-Q was a barbecue restaurant located at 2200 6th Avenue South. It was opened by A. C. "Uncle Tom" Economopolous on November 22, 1948 and served full breakfasts as well as pit barbecue, fried chicken, steaks and "Mexican chili" from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM daily.

The kitchen was staffed by army veterans John Katros and Bill Kafpezidakis. The Alabama Neon Sign Company created a figural sign featuring a pig turning on a spit surrounded by stonework.
