Waite's Fine Foods

Limestone salvaged from the facade of Waite's Bakery, now displayed at The Waites

Waite's Fine Foods was a restaurant, bakery, grocer and ice cream parlor located at 2101 7th Avenue South in Southside and at 2012 Cahaba Road in English Village.

Samples of the limestone facade of the Southside location were salvaged and incorporated into the design of The Waites, a $13.6 million mixed-use apartment and retail project under development by Retail Specialists.
