This is a List of homicides in 1988.

January 18: Billie Dean Hamilton, 38, was found raped and murdered on a roadside near Moody. Ricky Dale Adkins was convicted of capital murder that November and sentenced to death. He won the right to a new trial on appeal in 2013, but died at Holman Correctional Facility in Escambia County on July 1, 2014.
February 25: Rayford Howard was shot to death during a robbery. Harvey Windsor was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death.
