- In his section on "The Press", Dubose says Lancaster folded after three years. In the biographical sketch of Joseph R. Smith in the same book, he says that Lancaster continued the paper "until the close of the war". Since the Elyton Herald was "absorbed by Birmingham", the later timeline makes some sense. --Dystopos 08:03, 4 September 2014 (PDT)
