The Labor Union was a weekly 4-page newspaper published on Saturdays starting in 1886 by E. N. Edmonds on behalf of the Knights of Labor. The paper covered industrial topics and other subjects of importance to union members in the Birmingham District. Its slogan was "The laborer is worthy of his hire."
