The Colony Motor Hotel (later the Sheraton Motor Inn) is a former high-rise luxury hotel constructed in 1961 at 2040 Highland Avenue on the corner of 21st Street South.
The 15-story hotel originally boasted 208 rooms, but that number was reduced to 196 when it was remodeled and rebranded under the Sheraton nameplate by the Dextra Corporation in the mid-1960s.
When it was operated as a hotel, under the management of Mrs M. Michelli, the building boasted flexible meeting rooms on the second floor, nightly dancing in the "Cloud Room" and a penthouse restaurant, the Guv'nor's Grill. The restaurant was later called Top of 21.
The hotel was later converted into the Highland Manor apartments, an assisted living facility for senior citizens.
