Rendering of the proposed Center Point Hospital

Center Point Hospital was an unbuilt proposal for a 150-bed hospital to be constructed on a wooded 200-acre site near the intersection of Center Point Parkway and Westchester Drive. Atlas Realty commissioned the design for the facility, which was to have taken the form of three joined 6-story cylindrical structures.

The site was later used for development of the Panorama East Apartments. In the 1980s East End Memorial Hospital relocated to Huffman as Medical Center East, filling the demand for a medical facility in the area.
