A. G. Prince (born in Birmingham) is a former steelworker, artist and author.

Prince grew up in Ensley and graduated from public schools while also working at Tennessee Coal, Iron & Railroad Company's Ensley Works, where he spent a total of five decades. He took a few years off to study commercial art under Clint Bonner at the Gulf States Art School.

Prince's paintings and illustrations of Alabama landmarks, including covered bridges, steel mills, and historical buildings in Ensley and Birmingham have been reproduced in his own books and in the U. S. Steel Journal.
