In the article you state "Work was completed in 1990". I'm curious where you got the 1990 date from. I saved a copy of the Nov. 7, 1984 edition of the Birmingham News and on page H1 there is a large photograph of the building and the caption states "Workers have finished about half the building and are concentrating on putting in such building systems as heating, cooling, and plumbing.
