"Jefferson County Probation" (originally announced as "Re-Established") is a television series created by Roy Wood Jr and Aaron McGruder for Comedy Central. The show, set in Birmingham, stars Wood as a parole officer who bends the rules on behalf of parolees.

Executive producers for the series include Wood, McGruder, Trevor Noah, Norman Aladjem and Derek Van Pelt. Millicent Shelton was hired to direct. The series pilot began filming in Birmingham in May 2019.

Part of the negotiations to bring the production to Birmingham included arranging for Alabama Industrial Development Training's Entertainment Media and Production Crew Training (EMPACT) program to help fill demand for local crew members.
