The Vulkan Record Company was a record label owned by Patrick Cather in 1963. The company was originally called "Vulcan" for the Vulcan statue, but the spelling was changed before the second release due to a potential trademark conflict with the former Vulcan Record Co. Vulkan was the parent of the Soul-O label.
Artists who recorded for Vulkan included Mark Ingramm and Robert McCoy, who played with Frank Adams' band (appearing as "The Five Sins"). Live recordings were made at the Famous Club.
