15th Street South is a north-south street in midtown and southside Birmingham, running through UAB's campus to the foot of Red Mountain.

The street formerly began at 1st Avenue South, south of the Railroad Reservation, now Railroad Park. The next two blocks, to 3rd Avenue South, were vacated in 2012 for construction of Regions Field. Other sections of the street have been vacated for Cooper Green Hospital, for the UAB Campus Green, and between UAB's Blount Hall and Rast Hall dormitories.
