Finley Boulevard (also known as Alabama State Route 378 since 2016, and formerly part of U.S. Highway 78) is a 2.3-mile long, 6-lane surface street running east-west from Arkadelphia Road (U.S. Highway 78) to 27th Street North, with an interchange to I-65 Exit 262-B. The boulevard parallels Southern Railway's massive Finley Yard, named for its second president William Finley. The railyard is now operated by BNSF Railway as the BNSF Birmingham Automotive Facility.

Addresses on Finley Boulevard run in both directions from Center Street North. The western section runs from the 100s to the 800s, and the eastern section starts at 1100 and runs to the 2600s.
