The Alabama Waldorf School (formerly the Redmont School in the Waldorf Tradition) is a private school for pre-school through 8th grade which is affiliated with the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. It is located at 5901 Crestwood Boulevard in Birmingham's Crestwood South neighborhood.
The Redmont School was founded as a preschool in 1987 by Sheila Rubin.
In 2007 the school had an enrollment of 130 students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. It employed a faculty of 14 teachers. At that time, the school was located in the former Comer Elementary School at 1220 50th Street South in Crestwood.
