Jesse Bell (born c. 1978 in Jefferson County) is the chief of the Midfield Police Department, having been appointed to succeed Frank Belcher in October 2019.
Bell graduated from Gilmore-Bell High School in Bessemer and enrolled at the Tuscaloosa Police Academy. He applied for a job through the Jefferson County Personnel Board in 2000 and served on the Fairfield Police Department before transferring to Midfield in 2003.
