UMAMI is a Thai and sushi restaurant opened by brothers Marty Subrapa and Imadd Sumarsana in the former Babalu Tacos & Tapas space at 2800 7th Avenue South, in the 29 Seven building, on June 2, 2021.
The brothers also own Nori Thai & Sushi in the Altadena Square shopping center at 4704 Cahaba Valley Road, and Shiki Thai & Sushi in the Hallman Hill development at 300 19th Street South in Homewood.
