Marathon Electrical Contractors LLC is a commercial electrical contracting business headquartered at 2830 Commerce Boulevard in Irondale. The company also operates from offices in Decatur, Morgan County; Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and Hermitage, Tennessee. In 2021 Marathon opened a large fabrication plant on Dowzer Avenue in Pell City. Since 2013 Bruce Taylor has been the company's president.
Marathon was founded in 1987 by Larry Argo, Bobby Bratton and Bill Proctor.
