Valley Crest Apartments (formerly Beacon Crest Apartments and Timberfalls Apartments) is a 176-unit apartment complex atop the ridge between the Palisades shopping center and Valley Avenue, at 316 Beacon Crest Lane, off of Palisades Drive in Birmingham's Glen Iris neighborhood. The complex features one- and two-bedroom apartments in six, three-story buildings.
In 2018 RCP Management of Cranbury, New Jersey sold the complex to Arcan Capital of Marietta, Georgia for $9.78 million. In 2021 the complex was purchased for $13.3 million by an affiliate of a private equity firm which includes J. Matthew Bodnar and Chris Sanders as partners.
