Civitas is a bronze sculpture of of a female figure depicted with models of buildings at the corner of Cahaba Road and Fairway Drive in Mountain Brook's English Village.

The work, designed and cast by North Carolina sculptor James Barnhill, evokes Carolyn Smith, a self-taught architect who was active in the 1920s and designed several houses in the area.

It was dedicated in 1998.
