First Baptist Church Hooper City is located at 452 37th Court West in the Hooper City neighborhood. It was established in 1925.
Because of its role in the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights, it was recognized as a "movement church" by the Birmingham Historical Society. It erected its civil-rights-movement-era building in 1946.
