The Alabama Baptist is a weekly newspaper with offices at 3310 Independence Drive in Homewood. It was founded in Marion, Alabama on February 4, 1843. The editor is Jennifer Rash
It is an entity of the Alabama Baptist State Convention owned by The Alabama Baptist, Inc. Copies of the paper are mailed to 55,000 homes each week.
