The Alabama Symphony Orchestra Chorus, formerly the Birmingham Civic Chorus and Birmingham Concert Chorale, is a professional chorus associated with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Philip Copeland.
The group was founded in 1966 by Bruce Tolbert of the University of Montevallo. Other conductors have included Hugh Thomas, Thomas Gibbs, Timothy Banks, and David Smith.
