The Harmer Street bridge over Valley Creek is a 104-foot-long by 18-foot-wide concrete road bridge carrying Harmer Street (Jefferson County Road 36) over Valley Creek in Brighton, just outside of Bessemer and north of the Bessemer Super Highway.
The bridge was constructed in 1950 by the Jefferson County Department of Roads and Transportation. It has been rated as in "fair" structural condition, but "intolerable" geometry, since at least 1991. In September 2022 the county contracted with Barge Design Solutions to design a replacement, with bidding for the work expected to begin in October 2023.
