Elysian Gardens is a bar and sculpture park located alongside metal artist William Colburn's Iron Age Studios on the former site of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church at 101 40th Street South in Avondale.
The 10,000 square-foot venue opened in August 2022 houses BBQ Box and a second food service vendor, along with the Artifice Garden Bar and a shared outdoor performance stage. Development of the project was supported a share of $50,000 in cash and professional services awarded though "The Big Pitch" contest sponsored by REV Birmingham in 2019. The project was delayed by the COVID pandemic.
