The Birmingham Family Fun Center or CrossPlex Village Family Fun Center is a proposed multi-use facility with a skating rink, bowling lanes, video arcade, bounce zone, e-sports, pickleball, table games, event space and food court.
The project, as announced by Mayor Randall Woodfin on Facebook, was the result of plans developed by the Department of Innovation and Economic Opportunity. The facility would be built and operated by the city at the CrossPlex Village, and would open in 2024. Woodfin included a request for $15 million for design and construction in a package of capital expenditures announced in January 2023.
