Timothy Ragland (born c. 1991 in Talladega) is the Mayor of Talladega.
Ragland graduated with an associates degree from Marion Military Institute, and completed a bachelor's degree in political science at Auburn University Montgomery in 2017. He spent 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, and is pursuing a degree from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law.
While in college, Ragland was active in College Democrats, and worked as a field organizer for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign in Tallahassee, Florida. He later worked on Doug Jones' senate campaign in 2017 and Walt Maddox's campaign for Mayor of Tuscaloosa in 2018.
Ragland ran for Mayor of his home town in 2019. He narrowly defeated incumbent Jerry Cooper in an October 8 runoff.
