Masseyline Church of God is a church located at 6317 Alabama State Highway 79 in Masseyline, near Gurley Creek and the Blount County line. The church occupies part of the property first purchased in 1819 by John West Gurley.
The adjacent Masseyline Church of God Cemetery predates the church and was used by the Gurley and Self families as early as 1846. Many of the early graves are marked by hand-carved flat stones pulled from the creek bed.
