Alabama State Senate District 14 includes all of Bibb County, northern Chilton County, northeastern Hale County, southwestern Shelby County, and a small piece of southern Jefferson County. Incorporated areas in the district include southwestern Hoover, southern Woodstock and Vance, most of Alabaster, Clanton and Helena, western Calera, eastern Moundville, and all of Brent, Centreville, Jemison, Montevallo, Thorsby, West Blocton and Wilton.
As of the 2010 census, the district encompasses 168,669 residents; 82% white and 12% black.
