St Mark's Episcopal Church is a historically-Black parish church in the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama located at 228 Dennison Avenue in Titusville South.
The parish was originally established as an outgrowth of St Mark's School, which had been established under the authority of Bishop Richard Wilmer in 1891. It was located at 18th Street and Avenue C on Birmingham's Southside. Principal Charles W. Brooks was appointed as rector of the church and principal of its school in 1899.
The school closed in 1940 as the public Parker High School flourished. The church completed construction of its present building in 1962. Under the leadership of Father Edward J. Wilson the parish expanded its Cursillos de Christianidad and Kairos prison ministries. Chapters of the Brotherhood of St Andrew and the Order of the Daughters of the King were established.
