South Haven Health & Rehabilitation is a 101-bed nursing home located at 3141 Old Columbiana Road, just off Montgomery Highway in Hoover.

The business was founded in 1964 as the 64-bed South Haven Nursing Home by Fred and Rheta Skelton, and was one of the first commercial establishments in the area which was incorporated as the City of Hoover in 1967.

The Skeltons expanded to 111 beds in 1991, before slightly reducing capacity. In 2009 the family leased the property to Northport Health Services to operate. After Brian Skelton's death in 2016 the status of the family trust was litigated in state courts.

Fred's granddaughter Loree Skelton is the current CEO of the ownership group. She worked with the Hoover Historical Society to have a cast historical marker erected outside the building in 2022.
