Grand River Technology Park is a 105-acre business and industrial park on former coal mining land owned by U.S. Steel at 1 Barber Motorsports Parkway, near the Barber Motorsports Park, in Birmingham's Overton neighborhood.

It was developed beginning in 2019 as a joint venture with participation from U.S. Steel, the City of Birmingham, and Jefferson County. Planning and site engineering was supported with a $6 million grant of federal funds offered through the Alabama Department of Labor's Abandoned Mine Land program. The Birmingham Business Alliance, Alabama Power Company, the City of Leeds have also supported the project. Birmingham's Southern Museum of Flight was announced as a lead anchor for the development.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 24, 2019. A 32-foot tall steel light tower entitled "Transformed" was designed by Deedee Morrison to mark the entrance to the business park.
