The Wooden Goat was a south Asian restaurant located in a former automotive repair and sales shop at 4100 3rd Avenue South in Avondale. Craft distillery Avondale Spirits operated from the Wooden Goat.

Chef Matt Ralph, previously with Hotbox, launched the concept with a pop-up dinner preview at Rojo in August 2015. Architect Scott Phillips designed the renovations. The restaurant opened in January 2016. It closed on October 15, 2016. The Avondale Common House and Distillery opened in the same location in May 2017.
