David Harwell (born c. 1954) is a candidate for Vestavia Hills City Council Place 3 in the 2008 municipal elections.
Harwell faces Steve Ammons in the August 26 contest. Harwell's indentical twin brother Don is running for the council in Place 2.
Both Harwells graduated from Berry High School and UAB and are life-long residents of Vestavia Hills.
