Trussville-Clay Road is a five mile long road serving as a connection between Trussville and Clay between Parkway Drive and Old Springville Road. The road was originally named Clay-Trussville Road, and a grassroots movement to change the name back was undertaken by the residents of Clay shortly after the city incorporated in 2002, to no avail.
