David Harwell (born c. 1954) was a candidate for Vestavia Hills City Council Place 3 in the 2008 election, held on August 26.
Harwell was defeated Steve Ammons in the contest. His indentical twin brother Don also lost a bid for the council in Place 2.
Both Harwells graduated from Berry High School and UAB and are life-long residents of Vestavia Hills.
