Chadwick University was an unaccredited distance-learning "diploma mill" founded by Lloyd Clayton in 1990. In August 2008, the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education revoked Chadwick's license to offer degrees. The college listed an address at a Magnolia Avenue office building in Southside.
